Today I'm modelling a beautiful Curvety dress which is suitable for both Evening Wear and more formal daywear.  Above in the photo I'm wearing the dress in black.  The dress is also available in wine red (as pictured on the model in the second photo).  Both dresses are now €96.

I love this dress as it's very elegant detailing offers a slimming profile.  Both the colour and styling also help with this. Black is a staple choice for the plus size woman as a slimming block colour for everything formal, but with this dress the 3/4 length sleeves and the boat neck style neckline, with the knotch cut away, gives a more ladylike and cultured appearance.

I'm 5' 9" tall and I'm wearing a size UK18 which is true to fit.  The dress is fully lined and is 108cm [ 42 1/2in ] length from shoulder to hemline.

May 21st Stunning Curvety Lace Dress suitable for formal daywear or evening wear

This is the Leona Dress in Noir/Black - a long sleeve black lace dress from Curvety. It also comes in Magenta

I have featured Curvety many times now on PlusSize.ie as I have found that they are a quality retailer selling beautiful and different clothing in the size range UK16 to UK32 (and sometimes up to size UK36). They will therefore offer plenty of variety and choice to the discerning customer looking for something a bit special for herself.

Although not just quite a household name yet, Curvety's clothing is becoming very popular. As a result of this sometimes new clothing items and styles can sell out quite quickly after being added.  Don't be alarmed though if your size has gone, because stock is immediately replenished and you can be lucky and get the item that you initially wanted - that size having only been out of stock for a couple of days. They often offer close style choices too.

Getting back to the Leona dress I am modelling today: - I am 5' 9" tall and I am wearing this dress in size UK18.  You can see the fit is perfect.  This dress is fully lined and beautifully cut to enable you to walk and sit with confidence (please see my video below; it shows me demonstrating walking and sitting tests to show that the dress doesn't "ride up").

This is for multi-occasions, including, but not limited to, both formal daywear and evening wear.  The addition of a fascinator or larger brimmed hat treatment will take this dress into the very special formal daywear category.  Whilst on its own (as modeled in the photo above and video below) it is suitable for a Cocktail Party or other evening occasion. The neckline is also an extremely good cut for showing off a necklace - and would suit either a pendant or a pearl choker.

May 18th - Designer Dress by Yuliya Rachel for IGIGI available at Curvety

This lovely IGIGI by Yuliya Raquel Regina Dress in Ruby Argentan Lace which I'm blogging about today has just been reduced in the sale at Curvety to €121. Grab this beautiful and very special creation by Yuliya Rachel now, as some sizes are selling out fast.

May 15th - Curvety Special Occasion Dress for a Wedding, Graduation, Day at the Races, or Garden Party

Firstly, thank you all for the well wishing messages. Touch wood I'm now fighting fit and back to my normal self.

A blink or two of late spring sun, a few warmer days, and suddenly it's time to start thinking about what to wear at dressy occasions such as graduations, weddings, Race Days or Garden Parties.

I have introduced you to the wonderful and very different line of clothing from Curvety before on www.plussize.ie.  It is now time to revisit them. Today I am modelling the Angelina Dress in size UK18.  I am 5'9" tall.  I think the dark Navy colour and the band detailing at the waistline make me look slimmer.  The dress's very pretty neckline is deep enough for wearing pendant style necklaces up to 18" long, or pearls.  Another feature that I really love with this dress is that it is fully lined - there's no need for separate under garments that might give you problems with "riding up" or rolling up when you move.
